As a resident of the lowermost and most poverty stricken level of Neo Tokyo, Wakinoshita, Mirai Nakamura's life is less than spectacular. But all of that changes when a late night run to her local pawn shop suddenly escalates into her being chased by agents of the Fujiwara Corporation, the largest energy and technology company in the Eastern Hemisphere. It turns out her family heirloom, an old sword, was actually the key to something much greater... literally.
